He finally relented and climbed the ropes to celebrate his (easy) victory. Fish applied the knee bar, Li tapped, and Fish kept it on even as the ref told him to let go. They showed the fan laughing on camera so I guess he wasn’t too mad about it. Fish responded by knocking Li off the apron, sending him into the barricade, and knocking a beer out of a fan’s hands. Round 1 looks promising, they're giving D&B come family entertainment competition. Cheese, Casa Bonita and the like, and there are plenty of stand alone entertainment venues around the Danbury area, but, nothing like the combo of food and fun that D&B offered.
I grew up in arcades, Showbiz Pizza, Chuck E. Maybe it is because it's my name, and seeing DAVE in 20 foot letters is pretty cool, but I've always been a fan of that place. I remember the first time I went over the Tappan Zee and saw my first Dave & Buster's. Dave & Buster's has locations in two Connecticut shopping malls - the Post in Milford, and Buckland Hills in Manchester. According to, the Japanese company recently signed a lease for a new location here and also in Arizona. No, my fantasy that Time Out arcade would reappear in the food court didn't come to fruition either, but Danbury Fair Mall will be getting the first Round 1 Bowling and Amusement in Connecticut.
